President's Message

Al Hidaya Islamic University, an institution that enlightens the green valleys and hillsides in northern Malabar, has already dedicated many gifted scholars to the society. Currently, numerous students study in different faculties. The aim of the institution is to develop excellent scholars beneficial for the Islamic heritage and culture who, through integrated education, by understanding the markings of the era, could provide the civilization with timely solutions to their problems. Colleges of Study

College of Islamic Sharia

An eight-year course in Islamic Studies comprising many disciplines in Islamic Sciences, including Quran Interpretation(Thafseer), Islamic Jurisprudence, Hadith, Arabic Language & Literature, Arabic Grammar & Morphology, Islamic Theology & Philosophy, Logic, Foundations of Hadith and Fiqh, Aqeeda and Islamic History. This course also includes school education from 8th grade to Undergraduate Degree courses.

Eligibility :

Get promoted to 8th std in School and to 6th std in Madrassa
Age should be at least 12 and should not exceed 14

College for Quran Memorization

Course for memorizing the Holy Quran with its rules (tajweed) in the qira’ath (recitation) of Hafs from Aasim ( برواية حفص عن عاصم ), which takes a maximum of three years. The students, then, shall be eligible for admission to both the colleges of study, i.e. College of Islamic Sharia and College of Qur'anic Studies.

Eligibility :

Age should not exceed 11 years
Should be able to recite The Holy Quran according to its laws (tajweed)
Get promoted to 6th std in School and to4th std in Madrassa

College of Quranic Studies

A course equivalent to Islamic Sharia, which focuses more on Quranic subjects and those who can enrol in this course should be a Hafiz (memorized Holy Quran )
